12:01 pm
>> there is a lot of talk of discontent among the ravens players in the last couple of weeks. and that is not on natural when you lose two heartbreaking games. but the ravens in the last two weeks had a chance in a fourth quarter lead if they win against the steelers at home and if they win it against washington, they come away with a chance in the playoffs. this is not just about what happened in the last two weeks. over the last two years, they have put more financial resources into their offense than they ever have prior. and there was inconsistency with the offense and the performance on the road and at home. and their ability to win games. it is all part of the equation. but the real crux of it comes with three games left in the

worry. attorney-general doug danziger said even if the high court comes down on the defense of marriage act, it will not impact marilyn's law. -- maryland because the law. >> what it could do, if it were to uphold that, which is unlikely, then it would continue to deny same-sex couples rights that come to them under the federal laws. for example, on tax returns. even though maryland has passed same-sex marriage, you cannot file federal tax returns as a married couple. that would stay in place. same-sex couples can and will be able to get married in maryland. >> the court will take up the case in march and should announce the decision by june.
